Is This The Testla of Bicycles?

A project on Indiegogo may be able to eliminate the issue of being trapped in bumper-to-bumper traffic. It's called the Storm eBike and upon first glance, it looks like a regular bicycle with wide tires.

However, it has a battery-powered motor nestled within the frame which can help a rider weave in and out of traffic relatively quickly. The 380 watt motor allows the eBike to reach speeds up to 20 miles per hour.

The wide, all terrain tires mean it can be ridden off crowded streets and sidewalks and through sand or snow. The 45-pound eBike travels between 30 and 50 miles on just one charge.

As a bonus, the lithium ion battery can be charged via solar power if a charging station isn't in the vicinity. Aside from being handy during a commute, the eBike may also be ridden right on the beach or up a mountain during moments of downtime.

Riders are able to get some exercise in by pedaling or they can take it easy and just push the thumb throttle to engage the motor. The eBike comes in various color combinations including yellow, green, black, and blue.
