2017 Chevrolet Volt (which will replace the 2016 model year in early 2016) will be used as a test car for autonomous driving.

The Province of Ontario's leadership in allowing autonomous vehicle testing was a helpful support in securing this advanced technology work for our Canadian facility."

To what degree the autonomous 2017 Volt will be autonomous we don't know yet, but the long-term goal is fully autonomous.
