Vessels of Russia's Pacific Fleet will participate in the large-scale international naval drills, the Komodo Exercise 2016, off Sumatra in the Indian Ocean this April, the fleet spokesman Roman Martov said on Thursday.

"The main issues of the upcoming exercises, which will unite navy sailors from 30 countries of the Asia-Pacific Region this year, were discussed at a conference in Indonesia's Padang port attended by representatives of Russia's Pacific Fleet and their counterparts from the Eastern Fleet of Indonesia Navy," Martov said.
