The film's official Twitter page confirmed the news via social media on Tuesday, as filming continues to take place for Daniel Craig's final outing in the role of 007.
Directed by Cary Fukunaga, the film is written by Phoebe Waller-Bridge who was brought on board to sprinkle her magic on the script for the 25th movie in the film franchise based on Ian Fleming's hit novels.
The film had previously been been given the working title Shatterhand, however the title has since been changed to match Bond's more iconic film titles.
In recent months, Daniel has been busy filming for the hotly-anticipated James Bond 25 movie, which will serve as his final stint as the iconic spy.
The latest Bond film sees the secret agent's tranquil life in Jamaica upturned after his friend Felix enlists his help in a mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist.
Production finally kicked off in April of this year, though it had already been delayed by several months following the departure of director Danny Boyle.
