Jonah Ricke of Loveland, CO was Hut! Hut! Hutted! the other day by armed government workers for having the effrontery to consider his business – and his ability to pay his bills – essential. He ignored orders  from the government (which styles itself essential) to close his business Because Corona – actually, because of government thuggery (an oxymoron, I realize) because he figured (wrongly) it was his business whether to keep his business open and his customer's business to decide for themselves whether they wished to do business with him.

No one is forced to enter any business, remember. Those who Fear Corona are perfectly free to stay away from anyplace they feel isn't "safe" for them. Of course, that isn't good enough for them.

Everyone must be made "safe" for them. No matter the absence of provable harm done to them – and notwithstanding the very provable harm done to people like Ricke and his customers, who are forced to not transact business, the former forbidden to earn an honest living and the latter forbidden to buy what they want from whom thy want when they want.

Can't have that in a "free" country.

And so, Ricke was Hut! Hut! Hutted! by armed and very dangerous government workers, who dragged him away in cuffs and placed him in a cage. He was charged with multiple made-up crimes such as "obstructing government operations," "resisting arrest" and – the newest in-thing: "unlawful acts public health act" (i.e., Because Corona).

In addition to being put out of business by government, Ricke now faces the costs and hassle of defending himself against these made-up charges and will probably be forced to hand over money to the government which forbids him to work and Hut! Hut! Hutted! him from daring to do so.
