Defending Liz Cheney from power-stripping, Mitt Romney being warned 'you're next'
• The BLThe removal of Rep. Liz Cheney from the House Republican leadership, according to Sen. Mitt Romney of Utah, would cost the party "quite a few" votes and result in defeats in 2022 midterms and 2024 general elections.

Romney' made the remarks after he said last week that, "Every person of conscience draws a line beyond which they will not go: Liz Cheney refuses to lie" and "I wouldn't want to be a member of a group that punished someone for following their conscience."
