They warn of blackouts and some blame the risk of blackouts on rapid pace toward the switch to renewable energy.  They warn also that electric vehicle (EV) mandates threaten the grid; however, that hasn't stopped the Biden administration from funding EV charging stations.  Additionally, some point fingers at controversial utility "Smart" meters and grids as being a significant part of the problem.  Of course, there is compelling evidence supporting that "Smart" utility infrastructure has never been reliable or safe (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6).  Unfortunately, that hasn't stopped it from being deployed either.  This all being the case, it will be interesting to learn what the director and interviewees of this new documentary propose will be the solution to U.S. grid problems.
