Three U.S. officials said preliminary assessments suggested the missile was fired by Ukrainian forces at an incoming Russian one amid the crushing salvo against Ukraine's electrical infrastructure Tuesday. The Associated Press also points out that the above assessment, in addition to President Biden's comments that it was "unlikely" the missile was fired from Russia, contradicts information earlier Tuesday from a senior US intelligence official who told AP "that Russian missiles crossed into Poland."
