Elon Musk jumped wildly with his fists in air as he joined Donald Trump on stage for the first time.

The dramatic appearance by the Tesla and SpaceX boss came as Trump returned to the Butler Farm Show grounds in Pennsylvania, where he survived an attempted assassination three months ago.

After leaping up and down, Musk told the huge crowd: 'America is the home of the brave and the true test of someone's character is how they behave under fire.
