Gaetz was the subject of a 3-year Justice Department investigation into allegations that he had sex with a 17-year old young woman. The investigation was closed last year, without any charges filed. The House Ethics also investigated him and their report is being withheld from the public following Gaetz' resignation. Gaetz has denied the charges against him. It has also been alleged that Gaetz paid other women for sex and The New York Times published a Justice Department document that appears to show that he paid thousands of dollars via Venmo to women, friends and associates. A lawyer representing two women who received payments revealed that they testified to the House Ethics Committee that they had sex with Gaetz in exchange for money.
Gaetz fought against the corrupt DOJ, the weaponization of government, and was instrumental in getting rid of RINO Kevin McCarthy as Speaker of the House. He was unpopular with establishment Republicans and it is unlikely that he would have been confirmed as US Attorney General by the Senate, although it will be dominated by Republicans in the 119th Congress. 

Candace Owens presents a bombshell story, written by Mel, a poster on X social media site. Joel Greenberg was a tax collector for Seminole County in Florida and was sentenced to 11 years in prison for multiple crimes, including sex trafficking of a minor, identify theft and production of false identification documents. Greenberg, who associated with Gaetz, paid at least one minor to have sex with him and other men, and may have included Gaetz. Some suspect that Greenberg may have been running a honeypot scheme. Matt Gaetz' father was reported to have been extorted for $25 million. From here, the plot takes many twists and turns that include a CIA prisoner in Iran, Scott Adams and the Israeli Consulate.
