The Senate voted to advance the nomination of Kash Patel, President Donald Trump's pick for FBI director.

Today marks the final confirmation voter later this week. Some of President Trump's more controversial picks, including Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. have garnered enough support from lawmakers.
