China is reportedly threatening to ban the import of U.S. films in what appears to be a desperate tantrum in response to President Donald Trump's latest America-first tariff escalation.

According to a Bloomberg report, two top Chinese state-linked bloggers with deep ties to Beijing's propaganda machine revealed that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is considering a sweeping set of retaliatory measures.

Among the threats? A full ban on Hollywood movies entering China.

The leak came from Liu Hong, a senior editor at Xinhuanet — the official website of the Chinese state-run Xinhua News Agency — and Harvard-educated CCP mouthpiece Ren Yi (aka "Chairman Rabbit"), the grandson of a former Communist Party boss.
