Some have seen the Swiss franc as a safe haven, but the Swiss surrendered their neutrality, as did Sweden, which joined NATO, and the Swiss confiscated private Russian assets. Investors have typically ignored the Middle East tensions in recent years, but this attack is a game-changer in the region. I will address this on the private blog.
