Israel has always operated a powerful and effective propaganda system - they even have a name for it, "Hasbara." But in the age of social media the Jewish state finds itself falling behind in the propaganda battle as the ongoing genocide in Gaza and general treatment of Palestinians becomes too horrific for the rest of the world to ignore or Israel to paper over.
