On June 29, 2025, the Hillsborough County Democratic Committee hosted a Zoom Webinar on The Free State Project in NH. Our Guest Speaker was Jeanne Dietsch, a former New Hampshire State Senator and Founder of Granite State Matters.

The Free State Movement is an American political migration movement founded in 2001 to recruit at least 20,000 libertarians to move to a single low-population state to make the state a stronghold for libertarian ideas. New Hampshire was selected in 2003 for this purpose. Whether you already know about Free Staters or not, this presentation educates about the current Free Staters in the NH statehouse.
