Peer-reviewed study confirms your hands emit the most light and that light can heal DNA...
• By Lanson Burrows Jones Jr.Research in Frontiers in Chemistry and work from the University of Calgary show the human body emits a constant stream of ultra-weak photon emissions (UPE) — 10²–10³ photons/cm²/s — in the visible spectrum, with palms among the brightest sources. Generated in the mitochondria through oxidative metabolism, these photons are recorded in dark chambers with cooled photomultiplier and CCD systems, revealing links to respiratory cycles and circadian rhythms.
Biophoton output has been shown to vary with:
• Heart rate variability (HRV) and gamma/theta brainwave coupling
• Mitochondrial redox states and oxidative stress profiles
• Focused intention, emotional resonance, and meditation
DNA is more than an archive — its π-electron cloud acts as a liquid crystal photonic resonator, storing and emitting coherent, laser-like light. Such light can:
• Activate or silence genes
• Repair DNA via photolyase enzymes
• Resynchronize circadian gene networks
Light is not only something you give — it's something you can receive.
850 nm near-infrared light penetrates deeply, absorbed by deoxygenated hemoglobin where mitochondria are stressed. At the mitochondrial level, it stimulates cytochrome c oxidase, freeing nitric oxide, restoring oxygen binding, boosting ATP, and reducing oxidative stress — with systemic benefits even to tissues never directly exposed.
And the brainwave state of the healer changes the light they emit. Advanced meditators and healers often enter high-amplitude gamma (>80 Hz) while maintaining 0.1 Hz heart–brain coherence a breath-driven vagal rhythm. In this state, the heart's toroidal field and brain oscillations lock into resonance, producing a phase-locked, coherent biophoton field. Also, being in Gamma Brainwave state increases the amount of focused light you emit in peer reviewed stuides.
