250 Lawmakers Travel to Israel. New Bill Could Give Rubio Power to Revoke Americans' Passports
• Need To KnowResearcher James Li reported that since the assassination of Charlie Kirk on 9/10/25, the House has passed an amendment that blocks the Pentagon from boycotting Israel, proposed a bill that could give Secretary of State Rubio the power to revoke passports from US citizens who criticize Israel, blocked the Epstein File release, and approved $650 million for Israeli missile defense.
250 lawmakers from across America are visiting Israel and Marco Rubio also dropped in for a visit.
James Li said that a budget bill contains an amendment that requires American weapons manufacturers to supply weapons to Israel as a condition for to supplying weapons to the US military. Critics predict a court challenge if the anti-boycott provision makes it into law.
The State Department Authorization Act has a provision that would make it easier for the federal government to revoke or refuse to issue passports to American citizens who have supported foreign terrorist organizations. The measure specifically says it would allow the secretary to revoke passports for "terrorists" or "traffickers," but has stirred criticism and concerns related to the First Amendment. Debate will occur on the bill on Wednesday, giving a chance for members critical of the provision to remove it from the bill.
