Chicago Mayor Brandon Lee blamed red states for his city's gun and crime problem, but it turns out that foreign fugitives from Venezuela (the Tren de Aragua gang) are trafficking the guns. 

Cash Jordan said that public safety is a grift in progressive cities. Politicians have realized that by allowing elevated crime in their city, they can ask for more money to try to lower crime. But when they get that money, they waste it. Jordan said that they aren't asking for money to build a jail for criminals because if the crime problem is alleviated, then funding is cut.
