UPDATE: Israel Launches Gaza Strikes, Peace Plan in Question
• https://www.infowars.com, by Raw Egg NationalistWitnesses say a wave of airstrikes were launched against targets in Rafah.
Authorities in Gaza say at least two people were killed in an airstrike in the northern part of the enclave.
The Times of Israel has reported the IDF conducted strikes after militants attacked Israeli forces in Rafah.
An Israeli military official said on Sunday that Hamas carried out multiple attacks against Israeli forces inside Gaza, including a rocket-propelled-grenade attack and a sniper attack, but did not mention retaliatory strikes.
"Both of the incidents happened in an Israeli-controlled area… This is a bold violation of the ceasefire," the official said.
Senior Hamas official Izzat Al Risheq said the Palestinian militant group remained committed to the ceasefire.
In the week since President Trump's ceasefire took effect, Israel and Hamas have accused each other of violating the ceasefire multiple times.
The government media office in Gaza said on Saturday that Israel had committed 47 violations after the ceasefire deal, killing 38 dead and wounding 143.
"These violations have ranged from direct shooting at civilians, to deliberate shelling and targeting operations, as well as the arrest of several civilians," the media office statement said.
There have been disputes over the return of the bodies of deceased hostages, with Israel claiming Hamas has yet to fulfil its full obligations.
Hamas has already returned all remaining living hostages, but has not returned the bodies of all the hostages in its possession.
There still remain significant obstacles on the road to peace. Agreement must still be reached on Hamas disarming, the future governance of Gaza, a proposed international "stabilization" force and moves towards the creation of a Palestinian state.
