BREAKING NEWS: Xi Jinping says China thanks Donald Trump for "promoting world peace"...

• By Rafa Gómez-Santos Martín

A recent statement has drawn attention on the international stage, the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, expressed his gratitude to Donald J. Trump for his commitment to world peace and his "enthusiasm for resolving regional conflict hotspots."

The remarks, shared through the official @MAGAVoice account on X, have had a global impact by recognizing Trump as a leader who "deeply cares about peace in the world."

The gesture came after a meeting between the two leaders in Busan, South Korea, during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit.

According to China Daily, Xi Jinping emphasized that the United States and China "can together assume their responsibilities as great powers and work united for the well-being of their peoples and of the world."

This acknowledgment marks an unprecedented shift in the Chinese regime's diplomatic narrative toward the White House.

According to Channel News Asia, part of the dialogue included a preliminary agreement to reduce U.S. tariffs on Chinese products from 57% to 47%, as well as Beijing's commitment to maintain rare earth exports and strengthen cooperation in combating fentanyl trafficking.

These steps consolidate a new phase of bilateral understanding marked by pragmatic defense of national interest and economic stability.

Xi Jinping's recognition carries high symbolic value: it shows that even the most closed regime on the planet acknowledges in Trump a leader capable of exerting global influence through firmness, order, and legitimate authority.

Peace—understood not as weakness but as the result of controlled power and responsibility—thus returns to the center of the global debate.

While progressive Western governments promote idealistic and unstructured narratives, this declaration confirms that respect among nations is earned through real leadership, not through political relativism or constant concessions.

Trump—despite international left-wing criticism—has managed to make even Beijing recognize his role in defending global order.

At a time when the left promotes policies of institutional weakening, open borders, and disdain for traditional values, China's gratitude toward Trump serves as a powerful reminder: the world does not need ideologies that destroy authority—it needs leaders capable of preserving it.
