Marjorie Taylor Greene sparks instant clashes moments after stepping onto The View

The MAGA congresswoman was greeted warmly as she stepped onto the set of the ABC talk show in a striking red suit.

But just seconds later, co-host Joy Behar landed the first dig after Greene maintained 'I do love him' while referring to Donald Trump.

Speaking in a stage whisper, Behar scored a laugh from the audience by muttering 'Well, whatever.'

Greene and outspoken liberal co-host Sunny Hostin then discussed the Georgia politician's recent attacks on both Republicans and Democrats. Greene insisted she has always felt comfortable defying party lines and only wants the best for working-class Americans.

She also complained about the ongoing government shutdown - saying she was sick of the 'p*ssing contest between the men' while slamming other Washington, DC lawmakers.

Hostin shared her surprise at finding common ground with Greene, who, in turn, told the host: 'You've only seen me in clips and headlines, and that's not fair'.

Things got testy, though, when Hostin began to grill Greene about her previous support of QAnon conspiracy theories.

'No, I haven't changed. I was a victim just like you were of media lies and stuff you read on social media. You all have attacked me many times on this show,' Greene told Hostin.

'We have,' Hostin said, to more laughter from the audience.

Greene added that the attacks stemmed from 'things you read about me that weren't true.'

Hostin responded that their criticisms were based on 'clips we've seen.'

'That were taken out context,' Greene countered.

As tensions flared, Behar quipped: 'What about the Jewish space lasers? What was that about.'

The remark referred to an old tweet from Greene that claimed the 2018 California wildfires were started by 'space solar generators' bankrolled by powerful, mysterious backers.
