Six Democrats voted yes.

President Trump is scheduled to sign the bill at 9:45 pm ET.

The House of Representatives is set to vote imminently on the Senate-passed continuing resolution to fund and reopen the government. 

Following the vote, the bill, which is expected to pass, will head to President Trump's desk for his signature.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt slammed the Democrats in her opening remarks at a press briefing earlier on Wednesday, describing the reason for the longest shutdown in history as "pure partisan politics" by Democrats.

She further announced that "President Trump looks forward to finally ending this devastating Democrat shutdown with his signature, and we hope that signing will take place later tonight."
