The Twenty RINOs Who are Working With Democrats to Give Illegal Aliens "Amnesty" Get Expos
• https://theamericantribune.com, By Will TannerMAGA Republicans are going berserk online over Rep. Mike Lawler's new attempt to foist what many argue is an amnesty bill for tens of millions of illegal aliens on the country, with accounts sounding off on the news and hammering the 20 RINO representatives who are backing the deranged and treacherous plan.
For reference, Rep. Lawler (D-NY) has been pushing the bill since 2023, when he first signed onto the "Dignity Act" and claimed it was necessary. However, his present attempts to push it stem from the summer of 2025, when he and other RINOs began working on the bill with the help of Democrats.
Defending it at the time, he said, "In conversations across NY-17, I've heard a lot of frustration, both from employers struggling to fill jobs and families looking to reunite with their loved ones. We must do this by fixing our broken legal immigration system, securing our borders, and creating a fair, earned process for those who are already here and contributing. The Dignity Act honors America's legacy of being a nation of immigrants, and that's why I'm proud to support it."
The bill has since stewed in Congress, but has recurrently popped up as Rep. Lawler tries to use the legacy media, particularly cable news to push it. The latest explosion of concern, anger, and interest came when online political analyst Brian Allen tweeted about it, saying, "20 Republicans and 20 Democrats just co-sponsored the Dignity Act — the first serious bipartisan immigration bill in decades. What it actually does: No amnesty. No citizenship. No handouts. A pathway to legal work status for long-term undocumented immigrants who meet strict requirements — fully funded by restitution payments from immigrants themselves, requiring zero taxpayer dollars."
Of course, MAGA saw through those claims of the bill's unobjectionable nature and immediately began sounding off on the "amnesty" bill. Amongst those who led the charge was Bo French, a prominent MAGA Republican in Texas, who declared, "Once again, Congress is pushing a bill to give amnesty to millions of illegal aliens. When are they going to learn?" Agreeing with him, a commenter said, "There is no reason to allow amnesty. Aside from the immediate damage it will cause, any amnesty leaves the door open for more in the future."
