The camera that lets you focus AFTER you've taken the picture - Lytro

• Dailymail.co.uk via Rense.com

Missing the moment - and failing to capture that perfect memory on camera - could soon become a thing of the past.

The disappointment of seeing your digital pictures blown up in all their blurry glory will be consigned to the history books with the launch of a new focus-less digital camera.

The Lytro will let photographers snap the scene and then choose what to focus on, via their computer, after taking the picture.

Using 'light-field technology', the camera's lens gathers as much information as possible from every angle in its field of vision.

The user then chooses the exact spot to focus on after taking the picture.

When viewed on a computer, users can click on different parts of an image to bring different subjects into focus.
