NYT Claims Middle East Ablaze From US Imperial Ravaging Needs Its Leadership

by Stephen Lendman

The Times and complicit media scoundrels march in lockstep with US wars of aggression and others planned - acting as imperial agents, not legitimate sources of news, information and analysis.

US new millennium conflicts rage endlessly, nations threatening no one preemptively raped and destroyed - millions dead from wars, related violence, untreated diseases, starvation and overall deprivation.

What the Middle East and all other parts of the world need most is an end to US imperial ruthlessness - humanity's greatest scourge, things about to worsen with Hillary succeeding Obama.

A rigged process assures it, Trump defeated before polls open on November 8 - more explosive wars than ever virtually certain on her watch, including possible nuclear confrontation with Russia, China and Iran.

As commander-in-chief of America's military, Hillary risks an agenda of cataclysmic proportions, unlike anything previously seen, potentially putting humanity's survival up for grabs.

The menace she represents is unprecedented in human history. An uninformed, indifferent public is mindless to what's potentially coming. Scoundrel media misreporting suppresses reality, supporting what demands exposure and condemnation.

The Times: "Syria, Iraq and Yemen are caught up in war. Turkey and Jordan are inundated by refugees. Russia has reasserted itself as a major player in the region. Libya is searching for stability. The Kurds are on the march. Egypt is fighting off a terrorist threat at home. And Saudi Arabia and Iran are waging a profound struggle for the future of the region."

Fact: Syria, Iraq and Yemen are victims of US aggression. So are Afghanistan, Libya, and Somalia.

Fact: Partnered with Israeli wars of discretion and decades of occupation harshness, America is complicit in brutalizing Palestinians, denying their right to self-determination.

Fact: US-led imperial wars created the severest refugee crisis since WW II.

Fact: At the behest of Syria's legitimate government, Russia intervened in September 2015 to combat the scourge of US created and supported terrorism.

Fact: Kurds deserve self-determination like Palestinians and other persecuted people worldwide.

Fact: Egypt is headed by a US-installed Pinochet-type despot. Saudi Arabia instigates and supports regional violence and turmoil. Iran is an oasis of Middle East peace and stability, seeking mutual cooperation with all nations.

The Times: "(T)he United States is seen as disengaging" from the region under Obama, "beyond fighting the Islamic State…"

Fact: He's waging multiple wars of aggression, including against Syria, Iraq, Libya and Yemen - supporting the Islamic State, Al Qaeda and other terrorist groups, not combating them.

The Times: "(T)he Kremlin is filling a vacuum left by Washington."

Fact: Russia is combating the terrorist scourge America supports in Syria.

The Times: "The Arab Spring revolutions of 2011 failed to deliver democracy…"

Fact: Made-in-the-USA, they maintained Washington's regional (in some cases shaky) control - in Egypt, Tunisia, Yemen, Iraq and Libya under new management, creating endless conflicts, turmoil and greater instability at the same time.

Wherever America shows up, mass slaughter, destruction and unspeakable human misery follow - what The Times and other media scoundrels never explain.
