Zogby Polls are Windows to the Future
Written by Ernest Hancock Subject: Political TheoryI've been sent the Zogby poll for almost 2 years now (not sure why). I started using the questions on my radio program to predict the future 'issues' that we would be bombarded with in the media. The following poll is much shorter than most. I suspect the reason is that when you check the bubble "Refused" too many times your opinion is longer required.
Should you answer each and every question you might be on the site for 20-30 minutes. If you answer the question about having a gun in your home, or how much money you make, or how often you go to church, or if anyone in your family is sick with the flu or has been recently then you are definitely directed to another set of questions.
If you answer that you are not going to vote then the poll is very short. I don’t think it’s because they don’t want to know your opinion, it’s because they already know it. The first thing they want to know is if you are supportive of “the system”.
The first few pages are always the same. Are you going to vote? How did you vote? What do you thing of Bush? What is your political affiliation? etc. Then you get to the survey pages with one to three questions that will send you to another set of questions depending on your answers.
Zogby also makes available, at a cost, the results of some of the questions/polls that they either did on their own or were questions used in part of a commissioned project. Just Google "Zogby" for more info. And just like you’d expect, the free-market has a product for every need.
I’ve answered these polls so many different ways on some of the standard questions that I can see a general pattern. And here is my personal opinion.
At least three elections ago some of us researched the results of a very skewed poll that we were of the opinion was nothing more than propaganda,… I know, they are all suspect, but this anti-gun poll was particularly astounding. We contacted the polling company (Gallup in this case) and asked how the polls were conducted. Once we made it to the sales department all was made perfectly clear. It reminded me of an old joke. The punchline was when you ask a pollster what 2 + 2 = his response is, “What do you want it to equal”. There is enough data available to the pollsters that they know what series of questions to ask, what part of the country and even what neighborhoods to poll to get the response you are willing to pay for. Then there are the internal, ‘you never see them’ polls that are used in the propaganda war the bad guys are constantly waging to maintain and enhance their power and control.
I could go off into several conspiracies to keep an eye on, but in the end it comes down to this. “I can tell when America is being manipulated”. And I think enough Americans (and enough others paying attention around the world) can tell also.
So if you want to get a heads up on the TV evening news 5 – 20 days in advance, then subscribe to the poll and answer all of the questions (answer any way you want) and you’ll see. By answering the questions differently each time you’ll get an even fuller perspective on what’s being done and what is coming.
Just so you know
Ernest Hancock
