Hopefully, those that were burned at the stake and whose minds have been zapped by religion can't be helped; however, there's still hope for the rest. Religion is on the decline and not a moment too soon.
Most of the atheists I know are pretty low-key about their atheism.
*Not* believing doesn't really inspire much intensity of feeling...
It's so interesting that average atheists are making atheism into a religion without even realizing it. And the few real thinkers among the atheists have set themselves up as god... maybe without even realizing it.
