Structured For Magnificence

Written by Subject: r3VOLution Continues

This episode of the Parallel Society podcast explains something that's tremendously simple and is great news for us, but is at the same time deeply radical, going against the structure of the world we live in. And that's a simple phrase: We are structured for magnificence.

This concept offends people, of course, but however off-putting this little phrase may seem, it is true. And it opens a door to a magnificent future.

And we can demonstrate that mankind is structured for morality.

Jesus quoted a Bible passage in Leviticus when He said, "Love your neighbor as yourself." But He knew that most of us at some time don't love ourselves very much. So, Jesus repeated in John, something similar, but not quite the same. Jesus said to His Disciples, "Love each other as I have loved you." He showed what that meant when He said, "Greater love has no man than to lay down his life for his friends." Jesus did this for all of us in His work on the cross, and then His resurrection on the third day.
