Wow that's crazy. As it turns out, voting doesn't give you the power to pick and choose what authoritarians do through the force of government.

Originally voting was there to control only a few things. In the US, and the Federal Government, these things basically are: public money, borders, insurrection, and the military to protect America. But talk by blabbermouth politicians tricked the people into using the Contract Clause to contract with government for all kinds of other things. | If you own your own semi truck and all the things within it as private property, with a bit of work, you can avoid all the US border law between States. Your truck full of produce or whatever in not Interstate Commerce, if it is owned simply by you, the man or woman. Safety laws still apply. But standard commerce laws - even licensing laws - don't. Government PMA laws apply if the whole operation is owned by you. Government is to be hands off, then. | We need to go private, and figure out ways to make the platform of the candidate to be a binding contract when the candidate wins.
