NY gold scales new 25-year high, silver shines
• ReutersGold futures surged to a new 25-year high, at $652.80 an ounce, on a falling dollar and worries over Iran's atomic program, and the rally spilled over to silver, which was already firmer after a launch of a new silver-backed fund.
