I wonder the same thing. I wonder what will it take for the American people to finally wake up.
I've noticed that in every form-letter I receive from my Representative and Senators in response to the e-mails I send them, they constantly refer to the U.S.A. as a "democracy" (e.g., "...to keep our democracy strong," or "...what I will do to protect our democracy," or "...the democracy our Founder's created," etc.), and never refer to it as a republic. The fact of the matter is, the Founding Fathers intentionally set out to create a constitutional republic as opposed to democracy, to ensure that the natural, God-given rights of individuals would never be subject to encroachment by the passions of the majority (read: mob rule), let alone subject to being revoked on the whim of politicians and bureaucrats.
This is, I believe, the key for the globalist/elitists to getting the American people to sit still for their agenda -- gradually replacing our constitutional republic with a collectivist democracy, which requires replacing the words and ideals associated with a constitutional republic with the terms and ideals of a collectivist "democracy" in the national dialogue and thtought processes of the American people; especially the younger generation.

We need to do all we can to educate the younger generation of Americans about the virtues of individualism, and the principles of a constitutional republic by representative government, as opposed to the evils of collectivism and the mob rule principles inherent in pure "democracy."

A reply to sentinel,
Close , but that is only good in horse shoes.
Read real history and not what is written by those who are victors in a struggle.
The FEDeralists were victors, thus Federal government was formed. An esoteric Constitution
was created to mislead the people into accepting this form of government.
Patrick Henry tried to protect the ignorant by
insisting on the Bill of Rights.
The so called founding fathers were all for a strong central government, and wanted to make Washington King. Does this hint of something not
right with what we are told ?
Washington was in the service of his majesty, before the revelution. Do you think for one minute a small rag tag army could defeat the strongest nation in the world at that time ? You have been had like so many others who believe what you are told or read without research. We are still a colony of England, always have been.
They start the wars and we obediently go to their aid ,or they would would be speaking German right now.
