I have not posted anything on this myself because it is sensational news with little real impact on anyone other than in that small town. But I have followed it since the day before they found her body in a pond. I suppose morbid curiosity compelled me to watch.

Things that bother me: 1. Female killers are infrequent.

2. According to the media, they police were apparently obtaining search warrants and conducting widespread searches on several suspects. The police were under incredible pressure to solve this. It had the appearance of a fishing expedition being sanctioned by a rubber stamp judge. And that will create problems for the prosecution if the evidence they obtained for the arrest is based upon one of these warrants. -- now that would be FP front page material!
