46 States, D.C. Plan to Draft Common Education Standards
• Washington Post46 states and the District of Columbia will announce an effort to craft a single vision for what children should learn each year from kindergarten through high school graduation, an unprecedented step toward a uniform definition of schools.
Essential reading for understanding what's wrong with American "education" is "The Underground History of American Education" by John Taylor Gatto. The more the federal government gets involved in education, the more it becomes dumbing-down and indoctrination. If you want your kids to be stupid "sheeple," just let them do this evil stuff.
