The victim's cousin, Daisy Ward, "would haave accepted an apology if they had come forward earlier"...but now she is unforgiving. 

This woman simply doesn't know how to hold a grudge!  What the heck is the world coming to?!?

 This is terrible, no matter what crime someone has commited this should never happen. Maybe the guards that drove the van should ride in the back on the way home.

That'd work for me.:)   Then, later, I would apologize, of course.
