Ill. soldier's family says pictures aren't porn
• Washington Post (h/t Carlos Miller)The family of an Illinois National Guard soldier said he's been charged with possession of child pornography in Afghanistan over innocent snapshots of a 4-year-old relative in a swimsuit.
Just another reason for all you young hot-to-trot 'I want to be a hero' and 'ain't war grand' mush-heads to consider before you give your life over to the army.
It's just a guess on my part but I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out a muslim saw these photos and complained to officials. Several years ago an American enbassy worker in Saudi Arabia was busted off the reservation for possession of porn for having vhs copies of The Love Boat show.
Sounds like the American Taliban is alive and well in Afghanistan...
