You have to choose between abortion on demand or slavery. If abortion is illegal, women are defined as breeder animals.
This "truth about abortion" smacks of ignorance about human psychology, sexuality and sociology. Abortion is as natural an urge as sex. The real problem is that far too many women are still essentially ignorant about how their reproductive system works and get pregnant with no idea as to how it happened. Too many high schools girls, even in the United States, still think that they won't get pregnant if they don't have an orgasm or if they are standing up during intercourse.
The real problem with Roe v. Wade is that the U.S. Congress, unlike legislative bodies in all other Western industrialized democracies, never bothered to depenalize abortion. It is indeed shameful when the courts feel obligated to do what elected leaders ought to do.
