I can see no greater reason to oppose the death penalty than the fact that the state is completely opposed to investigating in any aspect those it has convicted and intends to rob of every last breath the convicted will take. 

Why would anyone grant the state the power to take lives with due process under these circumstances --- only those who foolishly believe the state will never come after their family.
