The End of the World and the New World Order
Mike RenzulliAn excerpt from Tim Callahan's 1997 book "Bible Prophecy: Failure or Fulfillment?". In this excerpt from the final chapter of his book, Callahan links biblical prophecies of the end times with modern global conspiracy theories.
The author of this article Tim Callahan is a moron. And Mike Renzulli is ignorant for posting it.
Tim Callahan had a couple of years of high school Latin. I've had 6 years of advanced Latin.
Tim Callahan says that it's a misinterpretation to translate Novus Ordo Seclorum as "New World Order" and it really should be "New Order of the Ages."
That is patently FALSE and is a translation that ONLY an ignorant high school student of latin could make, who only looks at the first definition of saeclus/saeclum in the latin/english abridged dictionary.
In FACT, saeclum/saeclum also means WORLD or WORLDLY. (Duh.)
Further more new order of the (world/ages) is specifically in apposition to the NOT-worldly, i.e. timeless or divine.
The DIVINE order or ageLESS order is God's order.
The WORLDLY order or time-bound order is Satan's order in the world of the latin writers and speakers.
So it is quite correct to translate NOVUS ORDO SECLORUM as New World Order. Anyone who says otherwise is ignorant.
Anyone who trusts anyone who says otherwise (Mike Renzulli) is literally ignorant, posting ignorant things from ignoran people who have no idea what they are talking about but who pawn off their opinions as fact.
This is a simple hocus-pocus -- it is not what you think it is!
The quarrel over the Latin translation to English of the title The New World Order [NWO] is not preponderant to me – it is just tangent or peripheral to the real issue discussed in this elongated article. The real issue is who are for and against the NWO, and why. Those for NWO cannot live in a world without Order. Those who are against, are in limbo.
I cannot live in any world without Order [in capital letters]. So can’t any of you. You cannot live in America or any place like America anywhere in the world, if you are against Order and just do whatever you like. For example, the US Constitution is Order, so are laws passed by Congress and their implementing regulations. You cannot on your own free will live a life in this country that is against this Institutional Command or Written Order – an angry life lived and directed against this constitutional legacy handed down to us by our great forebears. Whether you like it or not, you have to obey, I assure you, otherwise you are kaput.
The traffic light that flashes red, green or yellow, is Order that you must obey whether you like it or not. If you think your individual free will or personal freedom is being abused or curtailed because you are required to obey this Order, well go ahead, feel free to disobey the red light and just drive through it and let’s see what happens. You do not only lose your life and limb but also wreck havoc to society.
What I am scared about to think these days is that more and more anti-Order freaks are running against the red light, in a manner of speaking. Attacks against the global move of nations to establish a NWO translate to this micro-behavior in our daily lives that is becoming scarier and scarier everyday.
Ask any run-away intellectual hippie [a yapping Libertarian extremist or a loudmouth Liberal bozo or an angry Leftist radical in the street] why he/she is against Order or wants to live in a world without order. They stammer, and all you get is incoherence, exposing their intense hatred of authority – notably the Government – whose regulatory role in our chaotic society they stupidly believed intrudes into living the kind of life they want. Everything conspires against their personal liberty – the teaching of children in school is indoctrination towards the NWO, the preaching in church is the devil lining up the faithful towards creating a NWO, the Government controlling our mind to achieve the same end, etc.
Nations all over the world are moving forward when they created the United Nations whose excuse for being is to establish a New World Order, precisely to check the wayward behavior of some nations wanting to dominate the smaller and/or less powerful ones on this planet. Admittedly there are some problems in the effort to achieve this goal, but UNCharter is clear about it. All those against it have the right not to remain silent, and I have nothing more to say except that they are moving backward.
So as you can see, the least of my concern is this quarrel over the Latin translation of the title of this global effort into English. Although this NWO issue is on fire, I yawn with boredom.
Baka, you miss the point entirely....
#1) the reason the translation of Novus Ordo Seclorum was brought up was because the author of the article stated his opinion as fact. And he was 100% wrong. As the leader of the Objectivist society in Phoenix, Renzulli the poster should know better. But he's hypocritical because he posts opinion as fact, regardless of its factual accuracy.
#2) Whether athiests or libertarians like it or not, everyone is subject to a higher power (real or not). Either men or God. So, I choose to be subject to the higher power called God, the same power the founding fathers recognized. Fighting against subjectivity to man is breaking your head against a brick wall, not to mention that after one man comes the next and the next and the next with no other principle basis to base ones views on freedom and government.
"All men are created equal", the golden rule (embodied in libertarian contract law enforcement) etc etc all comes directly from judeo-christian scripture and their deities. Like it or not, that's the way it is.
So, there's your "order". You get a choice, be subject to the Divine Order (of God) or the Worldly Order (of man and satan).
There is no third option as history has proven without exception.
John, your reaction to my comment: Baka, you miss the point entirely .... I can’t imagine how you missed my point entirely. My point John was, I don’t care about the Latin translation of the title which you boost to have a black belt of knowledge compared to Renzulli’s Latin green belt. Read my comment again. If you read it, you won’t miss. That’s the 1st point you overlooked.
The second omission was about what I said “This is a simple hocus-pocus -- it is not what you think it is!” I was referring to your quarrel with Renzulli, faulting him as a bad “poster” of opinion as fact when it is not. However, this has been of no moment to me. Rather, as probably you might have noticed, my comment [I hope you were aware] went directly to the crux of the matter published in the article … those who are for and against the emergence of the New World Order, and why it is reportedly leading to the end of the world.
I gave very lucid examples of the kind of “Order” I was referring to. Read my comment again. You will never miss it. No super-brain required. That premise [the examples mentioned] led to my conclusion that there is no world you will find in your lifetime that has no Order – my caveat to those who are against the NWO.
Lastly, your talk about atheists or those who don’t believe in God and deities, is irrelevant to me. So is anyone’s rage against the Government.
