Americans are losing their rights simply because the people won't protect them.  We meekly accept violations of our rights then crawl on our knees like obedient sheep, to await the official promise they will be addressed and the violations made whole thru the Judicial system. 

While there may be many little reasons, there are 2 major reasons for Big American Government gradually being able to  become a dictator over the lives of people.

1. People are making agreements with government, individually, and collectively through their States, and Counties and Municipalities. Stop it. When you make a voluntary agreement with Government, you bypass at least some the restrictions of the Constitution and amendments. AND IF YOU AREN'T A VERY SHREWD LAWYER (Government has some of the best), they have you, and you don't even know why or that it has happened.

2. The biggest agreement that people are making with Government is the Social Security agreement. And the biggest problem is that people are unwilling to recognize that the Social Security Number is not their number. It is the number of a SS account. You don't have a SSN. It belongs to a SS account hat happens to have the same name as you do. Start treating this account like you would treat a telephone or electric account. It ain't you. Separate yourself from it, legally, so that the requirements that Government places on it do not fall on you.
