What Herr Santorum fails to grasp is that 'Freedom' includes the individual, personal choice to 'make mistakes'.  This is 'how we grow' as humans.

In a Santorum World, everyone would act as they are SUPPOSED to. 

Look up the definition of 'automaton' and you would get a good idea of what that world would look like - until it dies from sheer boredom, that is.
