Apparently, placing guards at grocery stores is another technique brought to Venezuela by the Castros who deploy their guard dogs to the bodegas because people fist fight over potatoes...or whatever little food they're lucky enough to be able to get in the stores that day...56 years after the fact. The poor Venezuelans are in for a long run if their communist regime doesn't fall soon.
