I am a volunteer for a non-profit advocacy group that works in defense of wrongful convictions; as I sit her working on our current case, I am just mystified at how our federal judges has more power that the US President. This is amazing to me...I am completely speechless. They can do whatever they want with no accountability. There is a retired federal judge who has dissected this case, piece by piece, page by page and has written several articles about these defendants' innocence and he cannot understand how the judge and prosecutor were able to put these guys in prison for 7-11 years for owing debt.
