What few seem to realize is that those bombers were sitting out in the open in an airfield because of the 2011 "New START Treaty" between Russia and the US - https://www.state.gov/new-start-treaty. They were more or less mothballed there. Because of the Treaty, they weren't even being used. Sure, the strike destroyed some planes that are irreplaceable, but Russia doesn't need them. The fight in Ukraine goes on as it has been. Russia is winning. In addition, Russia has nukes in subs around the world, Oreshnik, and BUREVESTNIK - the only nuclear powered cruise missile able to reach any spot in the world. Zelensky wasted his drones, and broke the Treaty at the same time.
