Happening Today: Trump Meeting With US Oil Execs From Exxon, Shell, Others, To Discuss Venezuela
• Zero HedgePresident Trump is convening top oil executives at the White House on Friday as part of a push to steer U.S. companies toward investing in Venezuela's struggling oil industry, CBS reported today.

Does anybody think that Trump is doing this to combat the shutting down of California's oil companies and trucking outfits? Americans need oil. If they can't get it from California (because of Newsom's crazy over-regulation, which is causing the shutdowns) where can they get it? Trump is finding ways to keep Americans supplied with oil, from other sources. Note that Arizona could be greatly affected (increased prices) by the Cali' shutdowns.
