Note that Ian had a hand in convicting himself, and probably hasn't done anything to reverse his conviction. The first thing was that he was represented in court rather than standing as a man, PRESENT, not RE-presented. The second thing was that he answered their points, thereby validating their points, rather than questioning their points with regard to PRIVACY RIGHTS. The third thing is that he didn't revoke his signature off anything he signed with government/court, so that they are required to do things over. There are a whole bunch of thing that he used to convict himself. This should not even have gone before a jury, and wouldn't have if he had bypassed their points.
