I guess you would have preferred that the founder just talk King George out of being tyrannical? Give me a break!   And of course you would have to get rid of the big monopoly on violence: the United States Government.

You need to realize there are 2 types of violence justified and unjustified.  Justified violence is usually a response to the initiation of violence by someone else. Often the illegitimate actions of a government are the initiation of violence.
