The former vice mayor of apacher junction , outsted by outraged voters is set to start trial ONLY two years after he ran down a man and a woman on a motorcycle that left the riders injured . the tox results show he was impaired and new witnesses have come foward that have stated that he was volitile and seemd under the influence just minutes before he hit the motorcycle at the light at Idaho and West Apache Trail.

 The vice mayor and his then 21 year old son are both facing charges ranging from DUI to felony aggravated assault with weapons....the victims in this case feel that 2 years is a vilation of the victims rights to a speedy resolution in the matter ...and the typical lawyer shuffling is going on to buy them even more time to hide assets and shuffle money so that by the time there is a judgement it wil be to late.

  justice delayed is justice denied , the victim Eric Martinez was charged with assault misdimenors for defending himself and wife from weapons he was in and out of court in months !!

the outcome of that was dropped in the interest of justice ..however he says where is the justice in being charged in the first place ???

the Gila county attorney did everything she could do to get this case dissmised or dropped . now that maricopa has it justoce still being delayed may at least have a chance to see the light of day.

they were released on thier own recognisence awaiting trial with no bail ???

If this had been any other person in the same town they would have gone to jail !!and had to post bail ect ect

this town and the local government (if you can callit that) have no respect for the law or any citizen that is not in the GOOD OLE BOY NETWORK !!! and they are saying it loud and clear !!
