Now you know everything I know... This is the last thing I have to share that I haven't already. I hope this is of use to others that wish to use this information to host your own speaking event to share the message to those that would benefit.

Nice hotels and resorts will be more willing to deal in the years to come I suspect. On average you can expect to get a ballroom for your event that you will have to guarantee from 40 to 60 room nights at $79-$99 per night and meals to total a catering bill of about $5000 for a total revenue to the hotel of about $15,000. On average we need to generate about $20,000 - $25,000 to break even for a Freedom Summit that includes a Friday night Welcome Event, all day Saturday full of Speakers, Saturday Night Dinner Event, all day Sunday full of Speakers. Lunch Events for Saturday and Sunday can also be negotiated.
Deposits vary and depend on many things. You can expect a high of about $5000 with $1000 6 months in advance of the event to reserve the date. After years of doing this we are at about $2000 to have before the event.
