rp2012.org is a 100% grassroots volunteer website that was launched in late May of 2011 to help Ron Paul win the Ames Iowa Straw Poll, the most important event of the campaign before the primary elections.  Grassroots volunteers used rp2012.org to call tens of thousands of Iowan Ron Paul supporters and obtained roughly 1,500 commitments for the straw poll which propelled Ron Paul to a virtually tie for first place!
