This headline doesn't really say what I'm trying to say in the article. So I'll see if I can spell it out more simply: The LP cannot be "saved" in its present form, and should not be. We need a different sort of vehicle, not a political party, to advance our goals. But if we can we should save the "libertarian" brand for that new vehicle. Let the Barristas have the Party, but persuade them to relinquish the name.
